The aesthetics of this mouse are very pleasing it's not boxy like most expensive gaming mice are and it comes in a nice shade of gray and black. I've had the mouse for over 1/2 a year now I personally use it for gaming, and seeing how that would probably put the most abuse on a mouse, it has held up it's shape and functionality as if it were brand new. The mouse is practical for office, gaming, or even casual computer use. This mouse is probably THE best mouse you can get, in terms of price "Best bang for you buck," as they would say. this may not be the case with other people. NOTE!!: I do must state that that mx518 causes far less problems than the g400. I can't see myself buying any other name brand mice. this is ok.īut I still agree and believe that logitech is the leading company for gaming mice and business mice.

the stupid new driver and the new mouse argue with the old driver causing alot of issues as well. I think there is a bug in the driver of some sort or the logitechs control panel.Īnd then sometimes if you dont do a proper un-install of the old logitech driver.
I just wished the mouse driver wasn't a piece of trash.

so its got alot of compatibility issues with windows vista.īut when it does work. where I would be in the heat of action and the mouse pointer accuracy would die so horribly bad.Īnd the reason for it doing this is I noticed it keeps argueing with the normal windows mouse speeds and its not telling that windows mouse control panel that logitech is the one in control. And also I have noticed this alot in certain MMOs. because im trying to get work done but the mouse pointed bounces to poor and high quality accuracy. sometimes it works perfectly and then somedays it makes everything very annoying. and the normal mouse options that are some how not compatible with the logitechs mouse control panel. and the a few versions before this mice do as well.Īnd it also could be because for some reason their is a problem in the way the mouse driver is being installed on the machine with vista and for some reason the stupid driver just tends to have a problem with the windows vista. but it tends to have alot of issues with windows vista. I dont think this mice has any problems with windows 7. it will bounce in and out of accuracy with the mouse pointer. But when it comes to certain business software. and then mice pointer tends to not be accurate when clicking on buttons inside of certain softwares. these mice cause alot of glitches and the mouse pointer bounces every dag gone where on the screen sometimes. and everytime I buy logitechs gaming mice when using a vista machine, even with a powerful graphics card and ram. I had a version before the g400 that looked totally identical to this one.
